This is a major ESL moment on my end, but when I try to put Godsdienst, through Google Translate I get religion, while the literal translation would be "God Service". And the closest thing to that, that I know of, in the English lexicon is bible studies.
Godsdienst being the name of that part of the curriculum, and while it did include studying the bible, it also included reading it.
