That's not how that woks, you ARE more likley to have a diseased kid since if both of you have one gene thats good for a trait, and another thats bad for a trait, which is very likely since both your parents gave you about the same genes, then theres a higher chance of having a diseased kid. Its really complicated but since I can't really show diagrams here I'm trying to simplify it.
