guys i just found out that kyber crystals are sentient. this means that when a sith bleeds a crystal theyre making the crystal feel pain. honestly that is so scary imagine being just an object with no senses just being able to think that would be so scary

If you ever manage to find a copy of The Book of the Sith it has the original reason why with lightsaber's were various shades of red to orange, which was because they were synthetic, created through the dark side by each individual Sith, which coincides with their philosophy that strength comes from themselves
