The republicans have 2 years before a majority of them are voted. They have full control over all branches of government (nearly unconstitutional). This means they have absolutely no excuse to not get shit done. The thing is, what they want done(project25) will get them voted out. If they don't get shit done and inflation and everything continues to rise, people will realize they've been betrayed and vote them out.
There's also the issue of trying to make trump a dictator. This will immediately end with the military making good on their promise to serve the constitution, not a king.
