Joss is a trans man, not a girl, Rose (in their other comics) is a trans female, not a man. neither have never been referred to incorrectly unless its the characters slipping up while talking, even tthen they always correct themselves.

Josh is a trans man, in another comic (Skinny Dipping I think) Josh says he is on Testosterone and is always referred to as a man in every comic he's in.
