excluding this, why are posts from weeks or months ago showing up in first couple of listings the user uploads section as though they were just uploaded? is that a me thing or an algorithm thing?

admins recently gave the option for users to update posts. the problem is that posts that are edited get moved to the front of the listing. it makes sense if its a comic that got new pages, but its annoying when all i did was fix a typo or a missing tag. ive already brought up this issue with the admins.
