Not defending that guy bcs I'm not sure what he exactly meant, but not finding gay sex or just man in general appealing is not homophobic. Everyone has preferences. I don't like seeing man do gay stuff so I don't watch that kind of stuff and that's okay. The problem is when you start saying that someone Can't be in a gay relationship which I don't think he said anything about.
I'm not saying you can't dislike gay sex. I'm just saying that there are a lot of people who use finding lesbian sex hot as a bait so that it's harder for people to call them out as homophobic. The comment just reminded me of what some people say to get away with being homophobic.
