Dont wanna ruin this, but would regular xenomorphs be able to reproduce, im pretty sure only a queen would.... now im curious where do queen xenomorphs get the other half of the genes from?
It's actually really interesting, the xenomorph queen is able to produce facehugger eggs completely independently, iirc! It's also worth noting that a queen isn't required to do this, as the resin that Xenomorphs secrete has gene-altering capabilities allowing them to transform still-living hosts into further eggs. It is assume that this lone xenomorph drone would take upon the role of a queen after an extended amount of time!
Drones also have some facehugger characteristics, as they can inject the subject with similar fluids to create yet another parasite to perpetuate the species and create new hives. :3
