I remember the pilot, I watched a bit of both, so much wasted potential

It's not the worst, but the amount of profanity and drama in it makes it fun to laugh at

not my cup of tea, I suppose there are good moments sprinkled throughout, but it's too sparse to even consider them, I do enjoy the doors it opened for smaller creators to see a larger scale animated project was viable, despite the quality

I mean i love hazbin hotel cant say anything about heluva but yeah most fans are corny motherfuckking midlife crisis bulshitposters but the show is nice at least 

Both shows were incredibly ambitious for their time, a high scale animated series on youtube with big studio backing that combined the edgy humor with musicals. The problem was that they were a big fish in a little pond, and that pond grew with bigger fish really quickly. The show is "Millennials-coded" since Vivziepop herself was a theatre kid in highschool and loved musical. There is a niche appeal to that but the goneral reception is that its really cringe. That cringe is only multiplied whenever someone is using "fuck" or making a sexual innuendo ever other sentence. 

If you want good animated shows on Youtube, here are my recommendations:
- Animator vs Animation series and the Animation vs Minecraft series by Alan Becker

- any series made by Dillongoo

- The Backrooms Series and the Oldest View Series by Kane Pixel (hes making a movie that comes out next month)

- Girls Fight by AsaToshi
- LoL Animation series by R9M

- Dead Cells Immortalis by BobbyPills

They both equally suck, and vivzie has no idea how to make a joke without swearing or sex

Like, both shows is good, especially helluva boss, but for me the worst problem is the amount of musical scenes.

Would be better if they could do like steven universe that have like 1 musical scene per 3-5 eps but no, they do 2-3 musical scenes PER episode.

That's annoy me in such way that goddamn.

I stopped watching HB after S1 ep5 I think it was, I couldnt take it anymore

and I watched HH S1, and in a vacuum, its not bad

but it doesnt hold a candle to the pilot

It does have its place with the vibe and i see what theyre pushing for but its just not for me, maybe im too old for it or something but i grew out of that level of unnecessary
