NeZha I want YOUR opinion about East Asian Politics.

What is your opinion on the state of the East Asia?  How do you feel about the direction the countries are facing geopolitically? Maybe what do you think are the biggest challenges facing the various nations right now?

I know I stole ts, but people were complaining the US and Europe topics were getting racist, so I wanted to talk about something that's on my home turf that has REAL racism.

i think its terrible that the western world is so focused on Ukraine, Russia, Israel, and Iran. The bigger and REAL source of WW3 is on the East Asia Sea. Literally whats going on in Ukraine and Iran are just proxies for whats going on with China.

if you scroll to the previous comments, you can see my long rant

Due to China's continuous preparation for WW3,  Taiwan is now holding a vote for this upcoming election this November to undo the nuclear-free policy. This will allow Taiwan to run on nuclear power since over 90% of its power is reliant on imported fuel, making their supply line a major weaknesses for a nation who's advantage is computers. I cannot find info on if they will also lift their ban on nuclear weapons

I feel bad for anyone who has to go to war with china they got Flamethrowing snipers, dog what the fuck literal proof the Geneva Convention is just a suggesion

I think long-range flamethrowers have been a thing for a while. But oh, we can’t have expanding ammunition in war, that’s unnecessary suffering

thats just normal flamethrowers. the flamethrowers you see in games are massively nerfed for the sake of balance.

but nah, Im sure i can take them on easily

you might not see it much on the news, but all the major world leaders are already preparing for WW3. But the tactics of war have gone far beyond just physical troops invading lands, now its a battle of economics, logistics, and propaganda. What we can do now is prepare and make it economically infeasible for China to want to invade.

- China is still preparing their Belt-and-Road Initiative, a construction of western supply lines with the few allies and neutral countries in order maintain their economy in a drawn-out war.

- Iran War crippled Iran, which was suppose to be China's oil benefactor of the Belt-and-Road.

- Ukraine War crippled Russia, which was another oil benefactor.

- Ukraine War allowed Ukraine to make advances in drone warfare logistics. They have now shared that data with Taiwan so that we can arm ourselves.

- Japan re-militarized, and are preparing to send their navy to protect Taiwanese borders.

- US has stationed their navy in the Philippines, also they have received permission from SEA nations to move their navy through their waters.

- ASEAN militaries are now loosely united and having stand-offs with Chinese navy

- Chinese navy are constructing islands in the SEA Sea since its a loophole in maritime territory claim.

- US tariff war has been widely unpopular world wide due to the increased prices, but it had hit China the hardest. Many companies went under and thousands laid off. The economic turmoil will not be good to start a war in.

- US and China are heavily investing into AI in order to create automated drones. Live implementations have already happened. Recovered dud drones from both Russian and Ukraine sides showed that they have drones installed with AI, meaning they can choose their own targets without any chance of hacking or jamming.

- Many East Asian countries are actively anti-immigration, not just because theyre racist, but because China is incentivizing their people to work overseas and to influence their politics to be more China-friendly by slowly being the majority.

- a coal mine in Shanxi exploded from ignited natural gas. 128 injured, 2 missing, 82 confirmed dead (it was originally 90 dead but they retracted this, make do with this information as you will). currently there is a federal investigation, with the excutiives of the mining company arrested and the 4 other mines under the company being shut down. price of chinese coal has now risen by 8%. Results of the investigation showed that there were secret tunnels in the mines hidden behind fake walls, used to mine additional coal without government oversight.
- since 2021, China has issued their coast guard to fire upon any foreign ships entering the nine-dash line zone. few days ago, the the chinese coast guard used jammers on a dutch warship in the region, causing it to retreat from the region.
- US Department of Justice indicted 4 of the largest Chinese shipping container manufacturers on price-fixing. investigation found they were collaborating on artificially reducing the amount of available shipping containers from 2021-2024, causing the value of their containers to double by 2025. only one of the executives have been arrested while the others are still in China. no information on if they will be facing trial and/or extradited.

- Dong Guangping, an imprisoned humans right activist arrested for speaking about the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, has escaped prison for the 4th time and is currently in Korea. He is attempting to reunite with his family in Canada.

- There is a blockade of US weapon sales to Taiwan. However there are mixed reports about this, where we don't know if this is the result of the meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jiping, or it is simply a pause while the US focuses on attacks on Iran. Regardless, Taiwanese government were not notified about the pause on $14B worth of weapons. However this pause is different than the previous promised $11B weapons Trump sold back in December, which is still happening. Trump also plans to talk to President Lai Ching-te, the last time US and Taiwan's presidents spoke was in the early 70s.
- CEO of Nvidia who lobbied for Trump has recently joined the board of a Beijing university, which seems like a conflict of interest and/or an attempt to play both sides.

- a son of a US politician who works as a journalist was arrested for being a chinese spy. He was found working for the chinese government since 2019, helped a chinese immigrant get a job at the trump administration.

- twitch streamer Hasan Piker, famous for being communist, antisemetic, and electrocuting his dog, has been indicted by the US government for possibly aiding the Cuban government. The trial has yet to begin, but Hasan name-dropped Neville Roy Singham as being the benefactor for his recent propaganda trip to Cuba along with the organization Code Pink, a group made to send aid to Cuba and also promote communism. Singham is the founder of a tech company called Thoughtworks.

- China is worried that there may be an attempt by the US to destabilize China by arming the prosecuted Uyghr population in Xinjiang in order to shift focus away from Taiwan. There are roughly 300-500 million Uyghers in Xinjiang, most of which we can easily assume hate the CCP, and live near important industrial zones that move gas from west to east. This fear is based on a previous attempt by the CIA arming Tibetians during their resistance against communist occupation. If there was to be an open war on Taiwan, Xinjiang will need to be stable in order to maintain trade with Central Asia, Russia, and Pakistan in the event of global sanction and eastern trade blockades. destabilization in Xinjiang will result in China losing almost half of its supply of coal, oil, and natural gas, along with the recently discovered uranium mine

Pretty much. They own most the real-estate there to hide their wealth from the party and basically do nothing with their properties. So its a bunch of empty places that are obscenly expensive to buy.
