There are about four macaws here at my house. They migrate, but they've been here for a week now. They're beautiful and huge, but they sound like the cry of someone dying. I love Brazil.

I like birds. Mourning dove is cool, makes that nostalgic noise. There’s also a species I see often but will not name

this is the kakapo, one of the dumbest birds on the planet. if I had to pick one for me it’s for sure this one.

I don’t really have a connection to this bird, I just like it for how poorly it chooses nests. I’ll have to go with the Charadrius Vociferus.
