On some very weird justification I found in the comment section.
If you repeatedly pair arousal with violent or degrading content, you reshape your own sexual template and real intimacy starts to feel wrong, you will need increasingly extreme material to feel anything. That's damage to the user. And yes, it also raises the probability of real-world harm (acting on this), especially in those already predisposed. 'It's just fiction' is an excuse that ignores how conditioning works.

The correlation is with poverty (which is also a predictor for rape rates), not because pornography is banned in those countries.
The fact that poverty is a stronger regressor does not mean that violent pornography does not contribute.

This meta-analysis of over 21,000 individuals found that pornography consumption was significantly associated with sexual aggression, with the strongest effects observed for specifically violent content. Regarding drug-facilitated sexual assault (SA), such as ones similiar to the Metamorphosis comic and other similar content dropped by you know who, see: Drug-Facilitated Sexual Assault Pornography and Sexual Violence while Partying in Spain: Cross-Sectional Study. This study found that consuming DFSA-themed pornography was a significant predictor of real-world sexual violence perpetration, showing that consumers were nearly four times (3.78) more likely to commit such acts. Both studies confirm statistically significant influences ( with very low p-values ) of violent pornography translating into real aggression. Again, if one would like to decrease rape rates in the countries you mentioned, one must address poverty first. However, that does not mean that violent pornography does not contribute to the issue.
