The Boys started off really great, but then the head writer got super petty that American right wing people liked the show, so he drastically pivoted the messaging from being "poor vs rich" to "left vs right" and it made the show suck in the end.

I think it was in season 2 when the writers started not so subtly working their political views into the show if it wasnt already in the first season. So have fun drawing parralels between real world people and the strawman versions in the show.

The shows fine, really i like it alot, i played tf out of the first 3 growing up and it just isnt the same
The problem for me at least isnt the actual media of the show itself its great, its just everything feels so radically different from the source material, and thats just not what alot of the community wanted considering its been ages since any semblance of official dmc content
