Ive really lost interest on how ive been percieved after enough time
dont get me wrong im not just having a "fuck it i dont care" mentally its very flattering seeing how high up on the leaderboard i am you know, especially considering ive never really uploaded, only yapped

is it respect given by the collective userbase? probably, but not quite either imo
I feel respect here, in general, is still decided by the individual rather than the collective
thats not to say one cant influence the other of course
but I still respect Greenfeld for instance, something that would normally cause a ruckus, but Im a fairly respected user myself which is what lets me get away with it I think
but then why am I respected?
is it my age? my opnions?
I cant answer these things because I cant decide what others think of me
the only factor that I have control over in this equation is how I present myself, which just so happens to be one that people can respect?
there is just so much nuance to that that I cannot give a satisfying answer I think
